hot and muggy

I slept until almost 7 this morning, and got out into the garden by 7:15.  It was already very hot and muggy and difficult to work.  I tied the tomatoes in the Grow Camp to supports, and while I was doing that noticed aphids on the eggplant plants.  I've sprayed them with an organic soap based "insecticide".  We'll see what happens. The plants themselves are very big and have buds on them, and so I do not want to lose the plants to insects.  The eggplant plants in the bed by the house are nowhere near as big.  I also filled a long planter with soil and planted another crop of coriander seeds.  Watered the garden and grabbed a few sugar snap peas to have with my breakfast.
